Rust-inhibited ethylene glycol concentrate designed for refrigerated ice rinks and chiller systems. Formulated to protect pumps, piping, and heat exchangers from corrosion while providing reliable freeze protection when properly diluted. Suitable for closed-loop refrigeration and HVAC applications. Supplied in a 5-gallon pail.

HOW DOES A CHILLER WORK AND WHAT DOES IT DO?

The Chiller is where the Glycol returns with heat from the ice rink surface to the absorbed by the much colder refrigerant. The Glycol will then boil and vaporize as it absorbs the brines heat. The cooled Refrigerant that re-circles to the rink. However, the Glycol's chemical properties keep it from freezing. To freeze the rink surface, the system pumps chilled Glycol through the pipes and then onto the ice-bearing concrete slab.
