DESCRIPTION

The Iron Sleek Refrigerated Rink Flag Bracket provides an elevated mounting point for dasher boards on portable refrigerated ice rinks, allowing the boards to sit above the refrigeration mats.

The metal base rests on top of the rink liner beneath the refrigeration tubing. A narrow vertical neck fits between the tubing and connects the base to the upright board-mounting plate. This configuration provides clearance for the mats beneath the boards.

WHAT DOES A ICE RINK MAT DO? AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

The primary function of an Ice Rink Mat is to provide a glideable surface that mimics the smoothness and frictional characteristics of real ice. It does that by unrolling (much like a carpet) and connects to your refrigeration unit. The coolant is then circulated through the tubes to then begin the cooling process. As the Mats cool, water is sprayed on the rink in mist form. As more of the water freezes, water is released in a progressively larger flow. Within hours, ice completely covers the mats to form a perfectly uniform ice sheet which then is ready and perfect to use.
