Itasca Country Club

In the picturesque town of Itasca, where Iron Sleek was founded, the esteemed Itasca Country Club sought to enhance their winter offerings and provide an additional amenity for their valued members. Their existing natural rink faced the challenges of unreliable weather, often leading to skateable ice requiring extensive repairs due to snow and rain. Recognizing their dilemma, we collaborated with the country club and introduced a game-changing solution—a portable refrigerated skating rink and a small curling rink. The resounding success of both additions led to the expansion of their curling facilities, accommodating the formation of new leagues and igniting a wave of excitement. Moreover, the club leveraged this opportunity to launch a winter membership program, capitalizing on the enhanced winter experience. With their restaurant and bar, the Fox & Turtle, open to the public, Itasca Country Club experienced a boost in revenue during typically slow months of January and February, a rarity for most clubs.
